The journal "Profesional: Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG), Universitas Wahid Hasyim" serves as an academic publication medium focused on the development of knowledge and practices in religious education. This journal aims to support the enhancement of teacher quality through the publication of research findings, conceptual studies, and best practices in education and training, particularly in the field of religious education. It provides a platform for academics, researchers, and education practitioners to share ideas and innovations related to learning, teaching, and development in religious-based education.

The scope of research covered in this journal includes various aspects of religious education, such as curriculum and policy in religious education, learning methodologies, teaching strategies, and the development of pedagogical, social, and professional competencies of religious education teachers. Additionally, the journal highlights the use of technology in education, including the utilization of Learning Management Systems (LMS), interactive media, and digital innovations in learning.

Furthermore, this journal examines assessment and evaluation in religious teacher education (PPG Keagamaan), character education based on religious values, as well as case studies and best practices in the implementation of religious education across various schools.
