Abstract

Personality is a characteristic described by a person that can be described by behavior and actions. In the teachings of Islam, all aspects of life are regulated in Islam, as is character education. Luqman verses 17-18), (Surah al-Ankabut verse 45), (Surah al-A'raf 199), al-Hadith (Hadith Ahmad No. 20596 | Hadith Zaid bin Thabit from Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam), and piety. (HR. Tarmidhi No. 1910). One method of Islamic education that is still very effective in shaping the character of students is the use of the model approach. In the Qur'an, there are many arguments that imply a model. Teachers can use this to overcome the moral crisis of the current era. Examples that can be applied in daily life are based on the Quran. The Qur'an mentions several figures that can be used as examples, among them: the example of the prophet, It can be seen in QS al-An' am/6: 90, the example of the prophet Abraham. and his people, described in QS al-Mumtahanah/60: 4 and 6, the example of Prophet Muhammad, described in QS al-Ahzab/33:21, the example of those who first converted to Islam, described in QS al -Taubah/9:100, example of believers, this can be seen in QS al-Thur/52:21. This research is based on literature research, based on the work of several research documents and figures in the field of character education. In addition, this study also used the researcher's self-reflection method.
