Literasiana focuses on the integration of three main pillars: information literacy, libraries, and education. Topics include:

  • Cybersecurity and information security in libraries

  • Literacy-based curriculum and learning models

  • Reading, writing, and numeracy literacy

  • Character education and nationalism through literacy

  • Lifelong learning based on libraries

  • Literacy policies at local, national, and global levels

D. MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE

1. Title

  • Maximum 15 words

  • Clear, concise, and informative

  • No abbreviations

2. Author Information

  • Full name (without academic titles)

  • Institutional affiliation (university/institution name, department/faculty, city, country)

  • ORCID ID (recommended, mandatory from 2026)

  • Email address (corresponding author)

  • Contribution statement (if multiple authors)

3. Abstract

  • Written in English (and Indonesian for Indonesian-language articles)

  • Maximum 250 words

  • Structured (for research articles): Background, Objective, Method, Results, Conclusion

  • Unstructured (for conceptual/review articles): Summary of purpose and main arguments

  • No citations or abbreviations

4. Keywords

  • 3 – 5 key terms

  • Alphabetical order

  • Separated by semicolons (;)

5. Introduction

  • Background of the research problem

  • Literature review (state of the art)

  • Research gap or novelty

  • Research objectives

  • 10 – 20% of total manuscript length

6. Method (for research articles)

  • Research design and approach

  • Population, sample, and sampling technique

  • Data collection instruments

  • Data analysis techniques

  • Ethical considerations (if applicable)

7. Results and Discussion

  • Results: Findings presented in text, tables, or figures (no interpretation)

  • Discussion: Interpretation, comparison with previous studies, implications, and limitations

8. Conclusion

  • Summary of key findings

  • Implications (theoretical and practical)

  • Limitations of the study

  • Recommendations for future research

  • No new information or citations

G. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Before submission, authors must ensure:

  • The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere

  • Similarity index is below 20% (including all sources except references)

  • All authors have approved the final version

  • Reference manager (Mendeley/Zotero/EndNote) has been used

  • APA 7th Edition citation style is applied

  • All figures and tables are cited in the text

  • Permission is obtained for any third-party material

  • The manuscript follows the journal template (if available)

H. SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

Step 1: Prepare Your Manuscript

  • Format according to these guidelines

  • Check similarity using plagiarism detection software

  • Ensure all co-authors have reviewed the manuscript

Step 2: Register on the Journal Website

  • Click "Register" and complete the registration form

  • Verify your email address

Step 3: Submit the Manuscript

  • Log in to your account

  • Click "New Submission"

  • Follow the five-step submission process:

    1. Start: Confirm submission requirements

    2. Upload Submission: Upload main manuscript and supplementary files

    3. Enter Metadata: Add title, abstract, keywords, authors, affiliations

    4. Upload Supplementary Files: Upload title page, plagiarism result, etc.

    5. Confirmation: Review and finalize submission

Step 4: Receive Acknowledgment

  • You will receive a submission acknowledgment email

  • The manuscript will be checked for compliance (3–7 working days)

  • If compliant, it will proceed to peer review

  • If non-compliant, it will be returned for revision

Step 5: Track Submission Status

  • Log in to your account

  • Click "Submissions" to view the status

  • Status indicators: Queue → Review → Revision Required → Accepted → Published


I. PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Literasiana uses a double-blind peer review system.
