Jurnal Progress: Wahana Kreativitas dan Intelektualitas” if translated into English: Progress Journal:  Medium for Creativity and Intellectuality ” published by the Center for the Study and Development of Islamic Sciences or called Pusat Kajian dan  Pengembangan Ilmu-ilmu Keislaman (PKPI2)  of Islamic Faculty, Wahid Hasyim University Semarang as a medium for the development of Islamic education sciences, include: teacher training and contemporary thoughts on Islamic education, also moderate and multicultural Islamic education.

Jurnal Progress: Wahana Kreativitas dan Intelektualitas  published at first Vol. 1, No. 1, 2013 biannually in october. However, since Vol. 6 No. 1, 2018, the journal publication schedule changed biannually in June and December.

Dear Esteemed Academics, Researchers, and Practitioners,
We cordially invite you to contribute your original research and scholarly work to PROGRESS Journal.

This journal serves as a platform for the development of Islamic studies, particularly in Islamic education, teacher training, and contemporary thoughts promoting moderate and multicultural Islamic perspectives.

Publication Schedule
We accept manuscript submissions for two issues in 2026:
* Vol. 14, No. 1 – June 2026
* Vol. 14, No. 2 – December 2026

The deadline for submissions is March 20 for the June issue and September 20 for the December issue

Focus and Scope
Submitted manuscripts should address, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  1. Islamic Education;
  2. Teacher Training and Development in Islamic Education;
  3. Contemporary Thought in Islamic Education;
  4. Inclusive Islamic Education;
  5. Moderate and Multicultural Islamic Education;

  9. Technology and Digitalization in Islamic Education.
