About Journal

TAWASUT: Indonesian Journal of Moderate Islam is a peer-reviewed academic journal in Islamic Studies published biannually, in June and December, by PKPI2, Fakultas Agama Islam, Universitas Wahid Hasyim Semarang. Since its establishment in 2015, this journal has served as a scholarly platform for disseminating academic works, empirical research, and critical studies focusing on the development of Islamic thought, practices, and civilization in the Nusantara region, particularly among Muslim societies in Southeast Asia. TAWASUT is currently indexed by Garuda, Moraref, Crossref, and Google Scholar, and has been registered with P-ISSN 2338-042X and E-ISSN 2723-7990.
