Peer Review Process
The Journal of Tawasut implements a rigorous and timely peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and scientific contribution of all published manuscripts. The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. Each submitted manuscript is assessed by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.
Upon submission, all manuscripts undergo an initial screening conducted by the editorial office. This stage includes a plagiarism check using reliable similarity detection software to ensure the originality of the work. Manuscripts that fail to meet the journal’s ethical standards or fall outside the scope will be rejected at this stage without proceeding to peer review.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to reviewers. The journal is committed to providing a first decision within approximately two (2) weeks from the date of submission. Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editorial decision may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection. Authors are expected to revise and resubmit their manuscripts within the specified timeframe, accompanied by a clear response to reviewers’ comments.
The overall timeline from submission to publication is targeted at approximately twelve (12) weeks (3 months), depending on the responsiveness of authors during the revision stages and the complexity of the manuscript. The editorial team ensures that all stages of the process are conducted in a fair, transparent, and efficient manner, in accordance with international publication standards.
