Author Guideline
Jurnal Tawasut
1. General Information
Jurnal Tawasut publishes original research articles in the fields of Islamic Studies, Islamic Education, Islamic Thought, Social and Religious Studies, and other related disciplines. Submitted manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
2. Manuscript Language
Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian. Every manuscript must include:

3. Manuscript Length and Formatting
Authors should prepare manuscripts using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
General formatting requirements are as follows:

Font: Times New Roman

Main text size: 12 pt
-
Line spacing: 1.5
-
Text alignment: Justified
-
Paper size: A4
-
Margins: Follow the journal template
-
Use one-column format throughout the manuscript.
4. Title
The article title should:

Be concise and informative
-
Not exceed 15 words
-
Use 12 pt, bold, uppercase letters
-
Clearly reflect the content of the manuscript.
5. Author Information
The title page should include:

Full name of each author (without academic titles)

Faculty

University

City and Country

Corresponding author's email address
6. Abstract
Each manuscript must contain:
English Abstract
The abstract should:

Consist of 150–200 words
-
Be written in a single paragraph

Explain:

Research method

Main findings

Research implications
-

Font: Times New Roman 10 pt

Single spacing

Italic style
Arabic Abstract
An Arabic abstract containing the same information as the English abstract is mandatory.
7. Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords.
Keywords should:

Represent the main concepts or variables of the study.

Be arranged alphabetically.
-
Be separated by semicolons.
8. Manusript Structure
A. Introduction
The introduction should include:

Background of the study
-
Research problems
-
Research objectives
-
Literature review
-
Theoretical framework
-
Research methods (briefly introduced)
Authors should not create a separate subsection entitled "Research Method" inside the Introduction.
B. Methods
This section should describe:

Research design
-
Research variables
-
Research subjects or participants
-
Research instruments
-
Instrument validity and reliability (where applicable)
-
Data collection procedures
-
Data analysis techniques
The Methods section should comprise approximately 20% of the total manuscript.
C. Results and Discussion
Present:

Research findings

Data analysis
-
Interpretation of findings
-
Discussion linked with relevant theories and previous studies
Subsections may be added where necessary using bold headings.
D. Conslusion
The conclusion should:

Directly answer the research questions
-
Highlight the contribution of the study
-
Present implications and recommendations where appropriate
-
Avoid merely repeating the discussion or summarizing the article
9. Tables and Figures
Tables and figures must:
-
Be cited in the text before they appear.
-
Be placed at the top or bottom of the page (not in the middle).
-
Include clear titles.
-
Follow APA 7th Edition citation style.
Tables

Table title placed above the table.

Font: Times New Roman 10 pt.
-
Hanging indentation: 1.5 cm.

Use only horizontal borders (top, header, and bottom).

Do not use vertical borders.
Figures

Figures should be clear and of high resolution.

Figure captions should be placed below the figure.

Every figure must be referred to in the manuscript.
10. Citation Style
Jurnal Tawasut adopts APA 7th Edition referencing style.
Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as:

EndNote
All in-text citations and reference lists must comply with APA 7th Edition.
11. References
References should primarily consist of recent scholarly publications.

12. Ethical Statement
Authors must ensure that:

The manuscript is original.

The manuscript is free from plagiarism.

Proper acknowledgement is given to all cited works.
-
Any conflicts of interest are disclosed.
-
Research involving human participants has obtained appropriate ethical approval where required.
13. Submission Checklist
Before submission, authors should ensure that:

✓ The manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
✓ English and Arabic abstracts are included.
✓ Keywords (3–5) are provided.
✓ Tables and figures follow journal formatting.
✓ References follow APA 7th Edition.
✓ All references cited in the text appear in the reference list.
✓ The corresponding author's email address is provided.
