Plagiarism Screening Policy
The Journal of Tawasut is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. All submitted manuscripts undergo a plagiarism screening process at the initial stage of submission prior to being considered for peer review.
The journal utilizes reliable plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin or equivalent tools, to assess the originality of each manuscript. Submissions that exhibit significant similarity or clear evidence of plagiarism, including improper citation or self-plagiarism, will be rejected without further review.
As a general guideline, manuscripts must have a similarity index of no more than 25%, excluding references, quotations, and properly cited materials. However, editorial evaluation is not based solely on the similarity percentage; the context, distribution, and nature of the similarities are also carefully assessed.
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their work is original, appropriately referenced, and compliant with ethical standards. The editorial team reserves the right to request revisions, reject submissions, or conduct further investigation when necessary, in accordance with international publication ethics guidelines.
