SPEKTRUM Jurnal Ilmu Politik Hubungan Internasional accepts scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of political science, international relations, and related disciplines. Manuscripts must demonstrate originality, scientific rigor, methodological clarity, and relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.
- Original Research Articles
Original Research Articles present previously unpublished findings obtained through quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, or experimental research. Manuscripts must clearly articulate the research objectives, methodology, data analysis, findings, and scholarly contributions.
- Review Articles
Review Articles provide a systematic and critical evaluation of existing scholarly literature on relevant research topics. Such manuscripts may employ systematic literature reviews, bibliometric analyses, or other rigorous methods of literature synthesis. Review articles should identify research trends, knowledge gaps, theoretical implications, and directions for future research.
- Case Study Articles
Case Study Articles examine the politics of states, governments, organizations, and international relations through systematic research. Manuscripts must present a clearly defined research context, appropriate data collection and analysis methods, and findings that offer meaningful theoretical or practical insights beyond the specific case under study.
- Methodological and Applied Research Articles
Methodological and Applied Research Articles introduce, evaluate, or refine analytical approaches relevant to the journal’s scope. Manuscripts must demonstrate methodological precision, adequate validation, and a measurable contribution to the field of research.
- General Submission Requirements
All manuscripts must adhere to the journal’s author guidelines, manuscript template, originality requirements, and publication ethics policies. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published, nor should they be under consideration by any other journal. All manuscripts will undergo an editorial screening process and peer review before publication.
