Plagiarism Screening Policy
Medicomplementary Journal upholds strict academic integrity standards and does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using reputable plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools) prior to the peer-review process.

The maximum allowable similarity index is 20% (excluding references, quotations, and standard methodology descriptions).

Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected outright at the discretion of the editorial board.

Any evidence of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or fabricated content, will be handled according to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
