Author Guideline
Medicomplementary Journal welcomes submissions of original research articles, review papers, and other scholarly contributions in the fields of engineering, agriculture, health sciences, and pharmacy. Authors are expected to adhere to the following submission requirements:
1. Manuscript Originality and Ethics

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.

All submissions will be checked for plagiarism and are subject to the journal’s Publication Ethics Policy.

Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and ensure compliance with ethical standards for research and publication.
2. Language
-
Submissions must be written in clear and concise English using academic style and proper grammar.
3. Manuscript Length

Manuscripts should be 3,000–6,000 words in length, including references, tables, and figures.

The manuscript should not exceed 15 pages in total. Exceptions may be considered for comprehensive review articles.
4. Manuscript Template

Authors are required to use the official Medicomplementary Journal Manuscript Template.

The template includes structured sections: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments (if any), and References.

The template is available for download on the journal’s website.
5. Abstract and Keywords
-
The abstract must be 150–250 words, summarizing the research background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

Provide 3–5 keywords to facilitate indexing and discoverability.
6. Figures and Tables
-
All figures and tables must be numbered consecutively and placed within the text near their first citation.

Each figure and table must have a clear title and source (if applicable).
7. References

References must be current and relevant, preferably from the last five years.

Citation style should follow the journal’s specified referencing format (APA/IEEE/other style as per template).

Use a reference manager (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote) to ensure accuracy.
8. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s Online Journal System (OJS).

All authors must be listed with full names, affiliations, and ORCID iDs (if available).

Corresponding authors must provide a valid email address for communication.
9. Peer Review

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review to ensure fairness and impartiality.

Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscript based on reviewer feedback.
10. Publication Fees
-
The journal charges no Article Processing Charges (APCs). Publication is free of cost (0 IDR) for all authors.
