Medicomplementary Journal is committed to providing open access to all published content in order to facilitate the widest possible dissemination of scientific knowledge. The full text of all published articles is freely accessible online and may be:

Read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, or searched;

Linked to and stored in repositories or databases;

Indexed and passed as data to software tools;

Used for any other lawful and non-commercial purposes;
without financial, legal, or technical barriers, apart from those inherent to internet access.
The journal maintains a long-term digital preservation strategy by archiving all published articles in:

National Library of Indonesia (Perpusnas RI) systems and other recognized indexing services;

Institutional and third-party repositories, ensuring permanent accessibility and discoverability;

The Public Knowledge Project (PKP) Preservation Network (PN) for secure, decentralized archiving.
In addition, Medicomplementary Journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for ethical standards, integrity in publishing, and the handling of corrections, retractions, or ethical concerns. Unethical practices such as plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication are strictly prohibited, and preventive measures are applied throughout the editorial workflow.
