Analisis Pengaruh Tekanan Ban Terhadap Laju Konsumsi Bahan Bakar pada Kendaraan Hemat Energi Urate Evo-7 Pandawa Team

Krisis energi akibat menurunnya ketersediaan bahan bakar fosil mendorong pengembangan kendaraan hemat energi, salah satunya melalui upaya pengurangan rolling resistance pada ban kendaraan Urate Evo-7. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi tekanan ban terhadap waktu akselerasi, jarak gelincir, dan efisiensi konsumsi bahan bakar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan variasi tekanan ban sebesar 55 psi, 65 psi, 75 psi, dan 85 psi. Pengujian dilakukan di Sirkuit Mijen Semarang sepanjang 2,7 km dengan empat kali percobaan pada setiap variasi tekanan ban. Parameter yang diamati meliputi waktu tempuh satu lap, jarak gelincir kendaraan dari kecepatan 32 km/jam hingga berhenti tanpa pengereman, serta konsumsi bahan bakar yang diukur menggunakan buret, stopwatch dan pita ukur, kemudian dianalisi secara deskriptif dan komparatif. Tekanan ban 85 psi menghasilkan jarak gelincir rata-rata sepanjang 778 meter dan konsumsi bahan bakar rata-rata 18 ml dengan efisiensi mencapai 450 km/l. Kendaraan Pandawa Team dapat meningkat sebesar 34,5% dibandingkan tekanan ban 55Psi. Diikuti pengurangan waktu saat berakselerasi sebesar 10,6 % dan jarak gelincir saat mesin dimatikan mengalami peningkatan 17,5%. Secara keseluruhan, hal ini didasari perbedaan tekanan ban pada kendaraan, sehingga nilai rolling resistance menurun akibat dari tekanan ban yang lebih besar. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan kendaraan hemat energi berbasis optimasi tekanan ban.
