Peer Review
The International Journal of Management, Business and Social Sciences (IJMBS) applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of every manuscript published. Each submission is evaluated based on its academic merit, methodological rigor, and contribution to the fields of management, business, and social sciences.
All manuscripts submitted to IJMBS undergo the following review stages:
- Initial Screening:
The Editorial Team conducts a preliminary evaluation to ensure the manuscript complies with the journal’s scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these basic criteria may be returned to the author for revision or rejected before peer review. - Double-Blind Peer Review:
Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at leasttwo reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area. Both reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the process to maintain objectivity. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, theoretical contribution, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, and significance of findings. - Review Decision:
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the Editorial Team makes one of the following decisions:- Accept with minor or major revisions
- Resubmit for further review
- Reject
- Revision and Final Evaluation:
Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments within the given timeframe. Revised manuscripts may undergo an additional round of review if necessary. - Final Decision and Publication:
Once the manuscript is approved by both reviewers and the Editor-in-Chief, it proceeds to the copyediting, layout, and publication stages.
The average review and publication process takes approximately 8–12 weeks (2–3 months) from submission to online publication, depending on the responsiveness of authors and reviewers.
