Abstract

The importance of this research lies in studying organizational excellence, a modern administrative topic, and its application within a sports institution, specifically the sports club administrations in Maysan Governorate. To the best of the researcher's knowledge, no such study has yet been conducted. It is addressed through a study in the sports field, focusing on weaknesses to contribute to building a strong foundation for the health of sports organizations and institutions. The research problem was that sports clubs in Maysan Governorate  One of the pillars of youth sports work involves several efforts to support its activities and strengthen its work by evaluating its results. Among these efforts are objective and purposeful scientific studies aimed at evaluating the various aspects of its inputs and Its operations, outputs, and accompanying administrative, technical, and support applications; and to the best of the researcher's knowledge, there is no scientific study that gives a clear picture of the level of the heads of sports clubs in Maysan Governorate, as well as The research problem focuses on the level of organizational excellence in these clubs, addressing the following questions:


Do sports clubs possess organizational excellence? And what is the level of this organizational excellence? The research aims to develop a scale To identify the level of organizational excellence in sports clubs from the members' perspective, the researcher used a descriptive approach with a survey method and correlational relationships. As a prelude to applying the research to it, the researcher divided it as follows:


The exploratory experiment sample: It consisted of (11) members (from Al-Nasiriya Club and Maysan Sports Club). Their selection was purposeful, with a percentage of (6.34%), and the sample for constructing the organizational excellence scale included (90) members of the administrative bodies, representing (52.63%), and the sample of The application of the Organizational Excellence Scale included (70) members of the administrative bodies, and their percentage was (40.93%). One of the most important conclusions is the possibility of applying the Organizational Excellence Scale to other sports institutions such as sports clubs and federations.
