Screening Plagiarism
All manuscripts submitted to PALAWA Journal of Community Service are screened for plagiarism using reliable similarity detection software such as Turnitin.
Manuscripts are generally expected to have a similarity index of no more than 20%, excluding references and properly cited quotations. Submissions exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the nature and extent of the overlap.
The journal strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, redundant publication, and improper citation. All similarity reports are evaluated carefully, and editorial decisions are based on the quality, context, and originality of the manuscript in accordance with the journal’s Publication Ethics and Author Guidelines.
