MAGISTRA: Media Pengembangan Ilmu Pendidikan Dasar dan Keislaman — ISSN 2087-2305 (print media) ISSN 2615-2282 (online media) is published by Pusat Kajian dan Pengembangan Ilmu-ilmu Keislaman (PKPI2), Faculty of Islamic Religion, Universitas Wahid Hasyim, Semarang. This journal publishes research articles related to the study of basic education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Elementary Schools. Journal topics include Islamic education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Elementary Schools such as madrasa leadership, learning strategies, curriculum, learning evaluation, inclusive education, culture-based education.

MAGISTRA: Media for the Development of Basic and Islamic Education Sciences was published in the context of developing studies on basic education sciences (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Elementary Schools) and Islamic studies.

This journal has been accredited on SINTA-4 and indexed in several indexing institutions including Google Schoolar, Moraref, Issuu, Garuda, Dimensions, etc.

Template Update Announcement for Authors — Starting December 2025 Issue (Vol. 16 No. 2)

Dear Authors and Contributors,

We are pleased to inform you that MAGISTRA: Media Pengembangan Ilmu Pendidikan Dasar dan Keislaman (Vol. 16 No. 2, December 2025) will implement a revised article template and updated author guidelines. These updates aim to improve publication quality, ensure international accessibility, and align with indexing requirements.

Starting from the December 2025 issue, the following changes will take effect:

Removal of Author Phone Numbers
All author contact information will be limited to email addresses only. The revised template no longer includes mobile phone numbers to protect author privacy and standardize contact formats.
Full English-Language Manuscripts Required
All submitted and accepted papers must be written entirely in English. This policy supports broader international readership and enhances citation potential.
Submission Metadata Simplification
The submission date, revision date, and acceptance date fields will be removed from the article metadata. Only the “Available Online” date will be displayed on the published version.
Minimum Length and Visual Requirements
Each article must contain at least 10 full pages, and include at least one table or one figure to support visual clarity and data presentation.
Citation Requirements
A minimum of 15 scholarly references is required per article, with at least 75% of the citations from recent sources (published within the last 5–7 years) to ensure relevance and contemporary contribution.

Please ensure your manuscript adheres to the updated formatting and content requirements before submission. Submissions not using the revised template may be returned for correction prior to peer review.
