MAGISTRA: Media Pengembangan Ilmu Pendidikan Dasar dan Keislaman — ISSN 2087-2305 (print media) ISSN 2615-2282 (online media) is published by Pusat Kajian dan Pengembangan Ilmu-ilmu Keislaman (PKPI2), Faculty of Islamic Religion, Universitas Wahid Hasyim, Semarang. This journal publishes research articles related to the study of basic education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Elementary Schools. Journal topics include Islamic education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Elementary Schools such as madrasa leadership, learning strategies, curriculum, learning evaluation, inclusive education, culture-based education.

MAGISTRA: Media for the Development of Basic and Islamic Education Sciences was published in the context of developing studies on basic education sciences (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Elementary Schools) and Islamic studies.

This journal has been accredited on SINTA-4 and indexed in several indexing institutions including Google Schoolar, Moraref, Issuu, Garuda, Dimensions, etc.

Article Processing Charges

To enhance the quality of published articles, Jurnal Magistra applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

The applicable APC is determined based on the issue in which the manuscript is published:

Up to the December 2025 Issue:

IDR 500,000 for Indonesian authors
USD 25 for international authors

Effective from the June 2026 Issue onwards:

IDR 750,000 for Indonesian authors
USD 25 for international authors

If a manuscript is accepted for publication, authors will be required to complete and submit a Statement of Originality with a digital signature, along with the payment of the APC.

This fee includes the cost of manuscript proofreading and editorial processing. Accepted manuscripts will not be published until payment has been received.
