Abstract
Pasar Baru Proklamasi Rengasdengklok is a traditional market built with a cooperation scheme between the Karawang Regency Government and a business entity, namely PT. Visi Indonesia Mandiri (PT. VIM) as the manager. The relocation from the old market to the new market has caused several problems, such as many traders who do not want to move from the old market to the new market even though the new market has been built for more than 2 years. This needs to be known as a problem in the management of Pasar Baru Proklamasi Rengasdengklok in Karawang Regency. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of cooperation between the Karawang Regency Government and PT. Visi Indonesia Mandiri (PT. VIM) in the management of Pasar Baru Proklamasi Rengasdengklok. This study focuses on aspects of (1) transparency and commitment, (2) partnership supervision, (3) negotiation process and (3) equality of roles in the partnership. The research method used is qualitative with case studies as the research design and in data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that transparency and partnership commitment still need to be maximized because there are several commitments that have not been implemented properly. Then for the supervision of partnerships in the management of this traditional market is quite good. And for the negotiation process, the government is still negotiating with the traders. And for the equality of roles in the partnership is in accordance with the cooperation agreement between the two parties.
