Abstract

This research aims to develop instructional media in the form of an animated video focused on preaching about the Warning of the Coming of the Last Day, with the hope of providing understanding for sixth-grade elementary school students. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study population consists of all sixth-grade elementary school students, with a sample of 16 students from SDN Panyingkiran II. The instruments used include product validation questionnaires by subject matter and media experts, as well as response questionnaires from students. The research results show that the animated video learning media developed has been validated and deemed suitable for use. Furthermore, this medium has successfully improved students' understanding of the topic of the "Last Day." Students responded positively to the use of this animated video, indicating their interest and engagement in the learning process. Therefore, it can be concluded that the animated video learning media "Last Day" (HARIR) is an effective alternative to enhance students' understanding of the subject matter. The use of this innovative media is expected to make the teaching and learning process more engaging and beneficial for students while deepening their understanding of key concepts in religious education.
