Abstract
The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed the educational landscape, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This transformation requires students not only to master digital technology but also to develop digital literacy supported by strong moral character. This article aims to analyze the strengthening of digital literacy through the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in shaping the Pancasila Student Profile. This study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method by examining scientific journal articles, books, and relevant policy documents. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that integrating digital literacy into Islamic Religious Education enhances students’ critical thinking, creativity, independence, collaboration, and Islamic values that align with the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. However, several challenges remain, including limited digital competence among teachers, unequal technological infrastructure, and students’ limited ability to evaluate digital information critically. Therefore, strengthening teachers’ digital competence, developing contextual digital learning resources, fostering a digital literacy culture in schools, and promoting collaboration among schools, families, and the government are essential to optimize the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.
