Abstract

Indonesia's extraordinary diversity, education plays a key role in shaping the way young people view differences. Religious moderation is one of the fundamental values that needs to be instilled early in the School Environment, and teachers are central figures in this process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type and uses a case design (Creswell, 2010)

This Journal discusses how teachers can play an active role in implementing moderation values in the classroom through exemplary, inclusive teaching methods, and contextual learning strategies. This study also raised various challenges faced by teachers in practice, both from the internal side such as personal attitudes and curriculum, as well as external such as the influence of the social environment and he media. By raising a case study from Sekolah Alam Insan Mulia Kotanobagu, this paper shows that moderation is not just a concept, but can become a real culture if there is a shared commitment. The conclusions and recommendations at the end of the paper are expected to be a practical guide for teachers, policy makers, and other educators in building schools as peaceful spaces that care for diversity.
