Abstract

Indonesia is famous for its cultural diversity that stretches from Sabang to Merauke. The culture of the Indonesian people is manifested in the cultural system, social system, and physical culture. The cultural system that has developed in Indonesia is implemented in the form of ideas, values, and norms. The social system is implemented in cooperation activities, deliberations, and mutual cooperation. Physical culture is implemented in equipment made by humans such as temples and inscriptions. These cultures are always embedded in life, as is still held by the people of Central Java, especially in religious cities. Technological advances should not be avoided and hated, but need to be responded to positively as a means of reintroducing cultural artifacts of the city of Demak so that the younger generation obtains clear and accurate information, so that each generation understands how high the value of culture is. Website-Based Information System at the Demak City Museum as a Media for Introducing Artifacts uses data collection methods, waterfall system development methods, and system design using UML (Unified Modeling Language) which consists of usecase diagrams and class diagrams and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram). Testing in this study resulted in 100% success in accessing the website in various browsers and also the success of the function of various types of displays built.
