Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the variations in the usage of digital wallet applications OVO and DANA among students of the Computer Engineering Program at Universitas Islam Balitar (UNISBA) Blitar based on usability components according to Nielsen’s Model. The analysis was conducted using the Mann-Whitney U test through SPSS version 27. The five main usability components analyzed include Learnability, Memorability, Efficiency, Error, and Satisfaction. The results indicate that for the Learnability component, OVO has a higher mean rank (46.17) compared to DANA (38.07), although the difference is not statistically significant. For the Memorability component, OVO achieved a mean rank of 53.92, while DANA scored 34.75. In terms of Efficiency, OVO obtained a mean rank of 52.46, whereas DANA scored 35.38. Regarding the Error component, OVO reached a mean rank of 60.44, and DANA scored 31.96. For Satisfaction, OVO recorded a mean rank of 58.40, while DANA scored 32.83. These values indicate that OVO has a higher average ranking and significant statistical differences in several usability components, specifically in Memorability, Efficiency, Error, and Satisfaction. This study concludes that OVO shows significant advantages in several aspects of usability, providing important insights into digital wallet user preferences and serving as a guide for the development of similar applications in the future.
