Abstract

n the era of globalization and digitalization, information technology has become a vital component in various aspects of life, including the trade sector. Social commerce, which integrates social media into online buying and selling, has become an important innovation that builds interactions between sellers and buyers, providing significant opportunities for SMEs to enhance their competitiveness and expand their market reach. SMEs, which play a strategic role in Indonesia's economy, often face challenges such as limited market access, resources, and technological knowledge. Information technology through social commerce platforms can be a solution to these challenges. This research designs a web-based information system for social commerce Rungkad (Ruang Karya Digital) to meet the specific needs of SMEs and consumers. A comprehensive approach through the stages of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes planning, needs analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation, ensures that the system meets functional requirements with optimal performance, high security, and good scalability. The use of modern web technologies and user-centric design principles is key to success. The research results include the design of ERD, use case diagrams, and activity diagrams that document the system's workflow. The system implementation shows that users can easily access website features such as login, registration, profile management, and transactions. Testing ensures that all features function well without disruptive bugs
